Kaziranga University Students launch first student-led Start-Up 'Eko Delivery'

Kaziranga University's FIRST START-UP was launched on the occasion of World Tourism Day on September 27th 2018. The start-up, titled as “EKO Delivery”, is a delivery system to cater the needs of the KU community, as well as the outside population. The name came into existence from the Indonesian word "EKO” which means first child, an apt name for the first start-up of KU.

Mentored by Preeti Adhikari, In-charge of the Kaziranga University Centre of Excellence in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, the team includes students Mrinmoy Nath, (Mechanical Engineering, 7th Semester), Partha Pratim Bora, (Civil Engineering, 7th Semester), Parishmita Hazarika, (Mechanical Engineering, 7th Semester), Antonu Dutta, (Mechanical Engineering, 7th Semester), Pragyan Kashyap, (BCom, 3rd Semester) and Jiju Dutta (BCom, 3rd Semester).

The delivery service covers all types of products of customer need. The main motto of the start-up is to fulfill customer satisfaction by earning profit. The team is likely to introduce their app based service by the month of October where every customer will be able to place their order online.
