Career Highlights and Awards:
  • Prof Sanyal is responsible for leading new projects and collaborations for KU School of Business and works closely with leading Indian institutes such as, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad; NICMAR, Pune; ICICI Direct; All India Management Institute (AIMA), New Delhi; IMT Ghaziabad; etc.
  • Prof Sanyal has 10 years experience in setting up management institutions in India, such as ICFAI Business School in Jaipur and ICFAI School of Financial Studies in Gurgaon.
  • He previously held the position of Dean, The Al-Abbar School of Management in Raffles University at Neemrana, Rajasthan.
  • Prof Sanyal has worked in the Infrastructure industry for around 23 years in major companies like Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd, Shapoorji-Pallonji Group, Ispat Industries, Greaves Limited and others, where he has held senior positions reporting to the Board and the MD.
  • He has led key infrastructure projects such as aggregate water supply from Cauvery river to Bangalore city, Narmada river to Bhopal city, 156 MW combined cycle power project for Alstom at Hazeera, 50 storey highrise project at Peddar Road Mumbai for Ispat Group; etc.
  • Under his stewardship, several major EPC projects were executed at various Power Plants in India (Barauni, Bhilai, Rosa etc.) and abroad (Kelenitessa, Sri Lanka); and Ethanol & Petrochemical Plants at Kilambero & Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, Africa.
  • Prof Sanyal has extensive experience in Entrepreneurship and Infrastructure Management which are his areas of specialization for teaching and research.
