Participation of KU in International Applied Reliability Symposium, 2016

The International Applied Reliability Symposium (ARS) is a reputed event conducted by Reliasoft Corporation, USA. The focus of the symposium is on Reliability Engineering, which is a multi-disciplinary engineering domain. The engineers from core branches like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, and Civil engineering can make use of the reliability theories and concepts in their respective areas to design and manufacture the products or systems more reliable. The symposium provides a forum for expert presenters from industry and government to come together with reliability practitioners from all over the world to discuss the application of reliability engineering principles to meet real world challenges. This reliability and maintainability engineering conference is held in multiple locations around the world, including North America, South America, Asia Pacific, Europe, India, and Middle East. This event was conducted in Bangaluru, India during August 10 th – 12 th , 2016. Professor (Dr.) M K Loganathan, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering department has represented KU by presenting a paper on ‘Reliability assessment of large and complex systems using GTA’. It is a high honour to KU that, KU was the only the university selected for presentation among several leading industries like Mahindra and Mahindra, ISRO, DRDO, Honeywell, HCL Technologies, Ingersoll-Rand, Schneider Electric, Chennai Metro Rail Corporation, and many others.
