  • University (senior grade ) Professor of CSE since 1999. A prolific professional, with an experience of over 34 years, in the field of Academics, R&D and Administration. Worked at BITS Pilani , BIT Mesra, KIIT,VIT university.,.Guided making bright future of thousand and thousand students since 1987. Current Field of Research: DBMS, AI, DM,CRM. MTech Students guided :120+. BTech CSE,, MCA, DCA, etc students : 1000+.Ph D students guided : 7 and 7 on pipe line : BOOK 2 , Papers 150+,.High position held : Director General (DG), Director, Professor, Chair (UG, PG,  BOS, DP, AC ) Proctor ,Chief Mentor , Chief Coordinator (New Initiative),  Diff committees, Adviser , Head,etc) , Coordinator : NAAC, NBA, ABET etc ,Principal / Co- Investigator of many projects  etc from State and center GOI and many more.
  • With my vast experience, of over 35 years, in leading University like VIT University, KIIT University, BBD Lucknow, BIT Mesra and BITS Pilani, I have played a vital role in the development of the institutions and thereby paving a strong foundation for alacrity, principles and knowledge to prosper for generations to come.
  • Most recently, having worked as a Professor and Proctor, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering - VIT University, Vellore, I have been able to implement changes and append various quality guidelines to the changing curriculum needs of the university. In my short stint, I was also able to put forward a modified framework to build a stronger relationship between students and mentors (proctors) across the University.
  • Earlier, i.e. from Jan 2012-2019, I worked as the Professor & Programme Head, Dept. of Computer Science & Engg. - KIIT University, Bhubaneswar; in addition to being a member of various committees, such as Board of Studies, Academic Council and R&D Committee to name a few. Having taken the leading position in starting new programmes in different computer specializations/programmes for B.Tech and M.Tech degrees, I have also played a vital role in NBA Washington Accord, IET, NAAC and ABET (The Unites States) Accreditations for KIIT University. With more than 25,000 students at the university, I have been prominently associated with being the mentor of the students and making a student-friendly environment on the campus.
  • From Jan 2005-2012, I was the Director & Professor, Babu Banarasi Das Group of Educational Institutions (BBD Group), Lucknow. Here, I was the Director of Northern India Engineering College (BBDNIIT), Lucknow and later became Director of Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology & Management (BBDNITM), Lucknow. The Institution has more than 15,000 Students & spreads over 250 Acres of campus. Under my leadership, it achieved some credible humbling successes and became One of Top Rated Colleges in Uttar Pradesh and significantly improved its national ranking. It was Ranked 28th Private Engineering College in India (OUTLOOK June 2008, 39th rank in 2007). AICTE, New Delhi has ensured accreditation of all the courses by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) with “A” Grade.
  • Before coming to BBD as the Director, I was working at BIT, MESRA (Ranchi) as Asst. Professor, Dept. of Computer Science and in a very short span of time was promoted as the Professor. During this period, besides looking after the work of the Department, I organized different computer programs, seminars, conferences for faculty members of many Institutes, Banks, Government organizations, and handled many governments funded major - projects as Principal & Co-Principal investigator. During my tenure of 15+ years at BIT, I taught more than 50 computer science courses to B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, MIS & supervised/guided around 150 master degree students. I also co-ordinated M.Tech  program at BIT Hyderabad  Campus in 1996 & M.Tech, BCA, BBA at BIT Ranchi, Lalpur Campus. Ultimately, I took the position of Director/Co-ordinator for the Dept. Of Computer Science at BIT and BIT Jaipur campus.
  • Being a product of IIT, Kharagpur (1987), I started my career from BITS, PILANI. There I was associated with Teaching Computer Science, Development and Production of Course Material - CSE, Distance-Education and other Academic & Administrative work coupled with many different development committees.

  • Taking up the job of Director & looking after the overall growth of the Institute from Jan, 2005 in order to build strength, reputation, quality, and various other verticals.
  • Giving assistance to the Hon’ble Chairman for expansion of the Institute & Establishing professional institutions in the field of Engineering, Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, Computer Application, Education & Biotechnology.
  • Under my able guidance NIEC achieved NBA Accreditation for 5 years (A Grade) from 27th July, 2006. Only 5% of total engineering colleges in India have his accreditation.
  • NIEC is in final proceedings to get Deemed University Status.
  • Chosen by the Management of BIT, Mesra in 2001 to transform its Two research centers BISR into BIT, Mesra extension centers.
  • I am also a member of Computer Development Consultant of highly reputed Indian School Mines, Dhanbad from 1997.
  • Nominated by the board to co-ordinate M.Tech program in its Hyderabad campus in 1996.
  • Looked after the computer science department & organized several Computer seminar at BIT, Mesra.
  • I was also the member of several development committees at BIT, Mesra and tried to uplift the institute in the field of teaching, co-related activities, R&D centers, etc.
