A National Convention on Tea Industries in Assam- Issues, Crisis, and Challenges were organized at Srimanta Shankardev Khalakshetra International Auditorium, Guwahati on 29th Sept 2019 by Adhunik India Foundation, New Delhi. Representatives from various Depts in the Government of Assam, Trade Unions in Tea Industries, Academic and Research Institutions deliberated on various issues and challenges in the tea industries of Assam. About 500 representatives of workers and management actively participated in the convention. Kaziranga University had the honor of being represented by Prof(Dr) Braja S Mishra, Dean and Mr. Tsering Lepcha, Asst professor as the Guests of Honour in the event.
