The Art and Culture club of Assam Kaziranga University  organized a tribute to the legendary music maestro, the Melody Queen of India, Lata Mangeshkar Ji on 12th February at SET Seminar Hall.  

The tribute paying ceremony started with offering Shradhanjali to  Lata Ji by Dr. A Shrihari Krishna, Registrar, Assam Kaziranga University. Soon after that, all faculty, staff, and students present in the event offered heartfelt  Shradhanjali to the departed soul. It was followed by a speech by Mr Pulak Bora, Assistant Professor, School of Business, where he briefly spoke about the musical journey of the late veteran singer.

Various students from different schools of the university came up with outstanding performances  where they sang  the most memorable and loved songs of Lata Ji as a token of their love and respect to the late legendary singer. The tribute paying ceremony came to an end by offering solemn prayer to the noble soul by everyone present in the auditorium.
