IBM Inter University Competition was conducted by Computer Science and Engineering Department, Kaziranga University with collaboration of IBM, where Ideathon for 2nd year B.Tech and Hackathon for 3rd year B. Tech students were held. IBM has provided problem staement to each team and students have to come with low level design solution within a specified time frame. The idea solutions ware uploaded in the IBM portal for evaluation. Total 124 students from 2nd year and 3rd year IBM students(CSE, ECE, EE) were participated in the ideathon and hackathon event. The competition was conducted in SET Lab under the coordination of Dr. Sajal Saha, Mr. Amlan Jyoti Baruah, Ms. Manashee Kalita, Ms. Kusum Duwarah, Ms. Sudarshana Saikia and Mr. Bishal Borchetia. This is the first phase of the competition which has been completed successfully and in the next phase they need to upload the entire code in GitHub and link will be shared to IBM on or before 3rd March, 2020. The selected team/teams will participate in the final round where they will compete with other universities and venue will be decided shortly by IBM.
