The Master's students of  Social work, Assam Kaziranga University  participated in the 'National Health Fest for Divyangjan-We Care' as volunteers celebrated on 5th April 2022 at Jorhat. The event was conducted on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in association with Special Olympics Bharat.

As volunteers, the students of KU got an opportunity to work with the specially abled children and assist them with different health promotional activities like -

• Health Screening
• Interactive Educational Tools,
• Motivational Health Information
• Referrals to Health care Providers.

Along with the other healthcare professionals, the KU volunteers actively participated in the registration process and other healthcare promotional activities to encourage and enhance healthy behaviors among the participants  and improve self- efficacy and self- advocacy.
