The department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), KU has organized a two days National Workshop on "Technology Enhanced Learning Using AR/VR" from 4^th May 2022 to 5th May 2022 in physical mode. Dr. Utpal Barman, Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of the .Workshop welcomed the speakers on the day of the event. Two eminent speakers, Dr. Aryabrata Basu, ECDS, Emory University, USA, and Dr. Sajal Saha, Principal, Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata has delivered lectures on Urban Spatial Historical Visualization, Experience the future through Augmented reality, and Jumpstart Industry 4.0 with Digital Twin. Dr. Aryabrata Basu also pointed out the requirement of AR VR for the Historical Visualization of the AHOM kingdom of Assam. More than 170 participants from CIT Kokrajhar, KKHSOU, and Assam Kaziranga University have joined the workshop.

On May 4th, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, KU, Dr. P. K. Mishra delivered a speech on the industry 4.0 and its relation to AR VR. Dr. A. Srihari Krishn, Registrar, KU pointed out NEP 2020 and the requirement of developing new pedagogy using AR VR. Dr. T.V.L.N.N Rao, Dean SET, KU encouraged students to take part in the AR/ VR project, especially the Historical Visualization of the AHOM kingdom of Assam project. Finally,  Mrs. Moosumi Bora delivered the vote of thanks on the 5^th of May, 2022
