School of Engineering and Technology has organized IBM day on 14.12.18 in collaboration with IBM. CSE, ECE and EE courses of Kaziranga University are developed as per industry requirement in two domain Cloud computing Virtualization and Business Analytic in collaboration with IBM.

The day is being celebrated every year where the students of CSE, ECE and EE showcase their talent through poster presentations, paper presentations and project demonstrations to the industry experts from IBM and Wipro.

Mr. Hari R, Mr. Viqar Uddin Surki from IBM and Ms. Varsha Malappa Mordi from Wipro, Commander Srinivas Rao from Apollo Medskills, Honorable Vice chancellor of Kaziranga University, Deans of all schools have graced the occasion.

The program started with welcome speech of The Dean, SET followed by the inaugural speech by The VC and keynote speech by Mr. Hari R, IBM. Paper presentation of 3rd semester students and poster presentation of 1st semester students started simultaneously in the auditorium and reception arena respectively. In second half, fifth semester students demonstrated their projects.

The program ended with award distribution to the winner followed by the vote of thanks by the Dean, SOB and group photograph.

CSE, ECE and EE students showed their extraordinary talent through different projects, ideas and concept notes aligned to Cloud computing, Virtualization, Business Analytics and IoT, which are part of their course. All the projects are mentored by the faculty members of CSE department. 9 posters were displayed, 10 paper has been presented and 11 projects demonstrated in front IBM experts and faculty members of SET. Expert from industries are highly appreciative about the students' performance and they have considered few projects for further modification, incubation, refinement to make it and market it.
