Workshop on weather forecasting, crop planning, soil health management, promoting fishery & making housing resilient in flood-affected areas

Kaziranga University organised a Community-Experts Interface Workshop on weather forecasting, crop planning, soil health management, promoting fishery & making housing resilient in flood-affected areas in collaboration North-East Affected Area Development Society (NEADS), Humanitarian Aid International (HAI) with support from HCL Foundation on 26th Sept 2019. It is part of the initiative of early recovery support to the flood-affected community of Golaghat - Assam. Scientists and experts from Assam Agriculture University, District Fishery Office and Jorhat Engineering College facilitated different sessions and provided a number of practical inputs which can reduce the vulnerability, strengthen the livelihood system and make the community more resilient to calamities like flood.
