World heart day was celebrated by School of Health Sciences with Community club, Kaziranga University at Jorhat town on 29th of September 2019.
In this occasion, an awareness rally was organized to make the people of the society aware about the risk of the heart with play cards and banners, which was started from Court field to Doss & Co. Jorhat and concluded at Court field Jorhat in the morning at 7.00 AM. The students of Community club and School of Health Sciences, Kaziranga University along with the faculty members of School of health sciences participated in the rally.

Secondly, the World Heart day was concluded with a Free Health Check-up camp at "SAROTHI" an old age home at Jorhat. It was attended by around 25 no.s of people who resides in the Old age home. The health camp was organized from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM. In this occasion Fruits and Biscuits, packets were also distributed among resident of the Old age home.
