A free Health Camp was organised by Kaziranga University on the 29th of March 2019, in Amgaon, Guwahati in a local school campus.

A team of nurses and doctors of Kaziranga University conducted the basic health check-up, including the basic parameters like pressure and blood sugar and offered them free follow up advise.

This year, Kaziranga University has also launched its School of Health Sciences, which would be offering degrees in Physiotherapy,Advanced Imaging and Technology, Medical laboratory Technology, Trauma Emergency & Disaster management, Operation Theater Technology, Dialysis and Optometry. The camp was very well received by the locals and there has been a tremendous rush of people.
