  • A brief report about the respective event in detail. - The event of Gender Sensitization was organised to to create awareness on gender inequality and sexuality related matters among the students of the School of Business. The session was graced by Mr. Nelson Deb - Co-founder of Bodhana NGO, Ms. Neha Arora - Project Coordinator and Mr. Malay Pran Neog - Intern at Bodhana NGO who is also a student of the School of Business, The Assam Kaziranga University (BCom 5th Semester).
  • People who attended the event. - The event was attended by the Deans of the School of Business (Dr. Manvinder Singh Pahwa), School of Engineering & Technology (Dr. T V V L N Rao), School of Computing Sciences (Ratan Kumar Saha) and Associate Dean of School of Engineering & Technology (Dr. M.K. Loganathan) along with the faculty members of the School of Business. The students from the second year BBA and BCom Programme were a part of this event.
  • Highlights about what did students learned during the particular event. - The students learnt about the concept of gender and about the challenges existing in the world with respect to gender inequality. There have been discussions about the awareness of sexual orientation of an individual in the society and how it can be increased in the future. The students have been encouraged to think about the gender inequality evidences they experience in their day to day lives and work towards the betterment of it.
